Blender - Yafray Render Tests - Sun and Skydome GI
Blend
All Renders have a secondary fill Sun (helper light) from Right - Energy .2 with No Shadow
Yafray Render - No GI

Yafray Render - No GI - Energy increased to 2

Enabled Skydome GI with Emit Pwr of 2

Testing World Color Values - This Has a Red world Color HSV (.03, 1, 1)
Basically you need to work out the value of the sky against the EmitPwr of the Yafray Skydome to get
the right amount of light and color in your scene. The next three image show the effect of darkening the
value of the sky world material.

Testing World color Values - Here is V = .5 with EmitPwr 2

Testing World color Values - Here is V = .1 with EmitPwr 2

Reduced Saturation which Lightened the Sky resulting in an overexposed render

Same as above but compensated for lighter sky by reducing the EmitPwr to 1

Same as above - changed Hue to a blue

Reduced Value to .5 and doubled EmitPwr to 2
